A Review of Best Picture Nominee, Amour

If the emotional response evoked by a film is any measure of greatness, then Amour wins. After seeing the film, I cried most of the car ride home from the theatre, and then once in the bathroom when I got home. My eyes are welling up right now thinking about it. I am so incredibly sad. I was thinking, with the title being Amour , that I might see more of a traditional love story, albeit a senior citizen love story.
Literary Traveler Link to Story

Antoinette Weil

I hail from Boston, but am currently living in Mexico City, Mexico, improving my Spanish, eating too many tacos, and keeping up with my blog, A Wheel in the Sky.

A full-time Flight Attendant, I am still finding time to crank out the words and turn them into sentences and eventually " a piece." Often travel writing is where I end up, but there are a lot of places these fingers can go. On the keyboard, of course.

I previously wrote for a national LGBT news and entertainment publication with a readership of 1.1 million, called EDGE Media Network.

And I am a sometimes contributing writer for Literary Traveler, a site for bibliophiles and travel fanatics, dedicated to exploring the literary imagination.

Outside of writing, I enjoy the beach, travel, politics, talk radio, good food, cold beer, and strong coffee.

I earned my BA from the University of Massachusetts concentrating in Legal Studies and Communications, if that matters at all.

Always open to collaborations or new freelance opportunities, so please, if the feeling strikes, reach out.
